The backdrop of the movie is a tribal setting in Jharkhand A girl named Rishu is promised a chance of living out her dreams of playing hockey and is sent to the capital of the country for supposedly better training facilities. However, instead of the hockey training institution, she is sent to a household to work as a domestic maid/helper. She is totally unaware that she will not be playing hockey at all but instead will have to accept her fate of being a domestic helper. The man of this house repeatedly rapes her and stuns her into silence. She gets pregnant with the rapist's child and is unable to do anything about it and has almost but given up on her life. Since the woman of the house doesn't want pregnant Rishu around anymore, she is sent away to another job where inspite being very visibly pregnant she is again raped by the overseer. She gives birth to the baby and decides to get away from everything and return to her hometown but on the way back she along with the baby are killed. The movie is very hard hitting and a wake-up call for all.—Dr Sumit Agarwal
