She is in love with a neighbouring boy,and they,together, live through all the trauma and hiccups..but,their chemistry is such that they always cross the bridge when it comes..so,the story is about their youthfulness, joy and beauty ..which finally convets into utmost sacrifice.....the role of mother is charismatic ,which portrays the emotions of thousands and thousands of girls of this subcontinent The another beautiful aspect of this film is it's music
